$1.5 million in Grant Funding Available from InterAct

We understand the critical need to update aging 9-1-1 and public safety systems, but budget constraints in this troubled economy are holding agencies back from making these critical upgrades. That’s why InterAct is pleased to offer $1.5 million in grant funding to aid public agencies around the U.S.

These funds will empower agencies to obtain or upgrade the software they need to reduce emergency response times, improve responder safety, and enhance information sharing.

Grant funds are available for any national, regional, state, or local public and private entity, including for-profit and nonprofit organizations, tribal, faith-based and community organizations, institutions of higher education, tribal jurisdictions, and units of local government that support initiatives to improve the functioning of the public safety system. Also, the funds awarded from the InterAct Grant Program may qualify as matching funds for state and local grants.

Through this open solicitation, we will be distributing grant funds throughout fiscal year 2012. To receive a copy of the InterAct Grant Program materials please fill in the form below.
